Configure BI Gateway for the BI Gateway Server

To support MES BI Gateway Reports, perform the following tasks on the BI Gateway Server.

1. Configure the following BI Gateway components:

   • BI Gateway

   • Data Adapter

   • Event Interface Service

     For configuration instructions, see the the MES Installation Guide or online help.

2. Update the BI Gateway database with the MES tables and data adapter.

   Use the BI Gateway Model Deployment utility within BI Gateway to deploy the MES BI Gateway report model. For instructions, see the topic "Updating the BI Gateway Database with MES Tables and Data Adapter" in the MES Installation Guide or online help.

3. Reboot the machine.
