Combine a quantity of an item's inventory from multiple records into one new record. To combine inventory:

  1. In the grid, select an inventory record of the item whose inventory is to be combined.

  2. In the toolbar, select the Combine button.

The Combine Lots dialog appears. By default, inventory records for the selected item and location are listed.

Model Driven MES Inventory Management combine inventory properties.

For descriptions of the properties in the panel, see Inventory grid and action panel properties.

  3. (Optional) Filter the list of inventory records:

    • To list only records from the location of the selected inventory record, select the Selected Location Only option.

    • To remove a record from the list (but not from the database), select its Delete InventoryRecordCombineInventoryDeleteIcon icon.

  4. In the Combine Qty boxes, enter the quantity of each inventory record to be combined into the new record.

  5. To change the location, use the location tree to display and select the new location.

  6. Specify the lot number, sublot number, item grade, item state, and expiry date and time to use for the new record.

  7. If you changed the lot number, select which item grade and state to assign to the new inventory record:

    • Use new lot to use the values entered in the Item Grade and Item State boxes

    • Use current lot to use the item grade and item state values of the selected inventory record (ignoring the values entered in the Item Grade and Item State boxes)

  8. Select Combine.

The inventory record for the combined quantity of inventory is created, and the quantities in the existing records are adjusted accordingly.
