The Split control is deprecated

The Split control has been deprecated and will not work with the latest version of the MES model-driven application content packages. In the Job Management form, the Split control has been replaced with the SplitEvent web widget.

If you do not plan to carry forward any custom forms that use the Split control, then prior to updating Work Tasks and the MES model‑driven application content you should:

• Unpublish those custom forms.

• Remove the MDMUtilSplitForm form and any custom forms that use the Split Control. This will avoid certain errors being displayed and logged during the Work Tasks upgrade.

• Uninstall the Split control package.

If you do plan to carry forward custom forms that use the Split control, then prior to upgrading Work Tasks and the MES model‑driven application content you should:

• Modify those custom forms to use the SplitEvent web widget. For instructions on how to implement the SplitEvent web widget, see the MES Model-Driven Application Content Developer Guide.

• Remove the MDMUtilSplitForm form, which uses the Split Control. This will avoid certain errors being displayed and logged during the Work Tasks upgrade.

• Uninstall the Split control package.
