Install MES

The following MES components must be installed on the MES Server. This should be the same node on which Work Tasks will be installed or on which it is already installed. This ensures that the MES middleware will be running on the same node as Work Tasks, which is a requirement for running MES model-driven application content.

• MES Database

• MES Middleware

• MES Middleware Proxy

• MES Client

• MES Web Portal

These components can be installed by installing the following role-based groups of components:

• Database Server with MES

• MES Configuration Client

• MES Web Portal

The MES installation software also includes the following components that might need to be installed:

• If it hasn't already been installed in the system, AVEVA the Enterprise License Server component.
