Receive items on purchase orders

You can receive purchase order items into inventory from the Receive form.

Filter control

Use the Purchase Order Filter and Item boxes to filter the purchase orders and items listed in the grid.

Item grid

The purchase order item records for the applied filter are displayed in this grid.

Properties panel

The read-only and editable properties of the selected item record.

Receive inventory for a purchase order item

1. If the Receive form is not already open, on the Enterprise Console menu select Operations, Operator, and then Material Reception.

2. (Optional) Filter the purchase orders and items in the grid.

3. Select the item whose inventory is being received.

4. (Optional) Click the expand button to see additional properties.

   

5. Complete the properties to specify the details about the received inventory.

6. Click Receive.

   An inventory record is created for the received items. Also, the item quantity in the purchase order is reduced by the quantity received.
