When filtering, note that only those records that match all of the filter values will be included in the grid after the filter is applied. If you do not want to use a filter property, leave it blank.

You can filter the grid by inventory properties or by a location.

Filter the grid by inventory properties

  1. Select the Filter button.

The filter properties appear in the action panel.

Model Drive MES Inventory Management inventory grid filter properties.

  2. Enter property values by which to filter the list.

See Inventory grid and action panel properties.

Entries in the following fields can be partial entries. Any inventory records whose values for that field include the entered filter string will be considered a match.

    • Location

    • Item ID

    • Item Desc

    • Lot

    • Sublot

For example, if 2019 is entered in the Lot field, any records with 2019 anywhere in the lot ID will be considered matches.

  3. Select the Apply button.

Only the records that match the filter values are listed in the grid.

Filter the grid by location

  1. Select the Location Filter tab.

  2. Select the location.

Only the records that match the filter values are listed in the grid.

When a filter is applied, its property values appear above the grid.

Clear a filter that is causing an error and cannot be edited

    • Do one of the following:

      • Clear all of the web browser's local storage.

      • Delete the filter object in the local storage.

The local storage functions are typically available in the browser's developer tools. For example, in Chrome, the objects in local storage can be viewed and deleted from the console.
