Support MES Model-Driven application content in OMI applications

Note: Using MES model-driven application content in OMI applications is optional. If this functionality is not needed, then the tasks described here do not need to be performed.

To support using MES model-driven application content in OMI applications, the System Platform galaxy to be used with that content must be created. See the Application Server User's Guide.

Then, the following tasks must be performed:

• Install the Work Tasks Extension for System Platform.

• Install the Work Tasks Connector for System Platform.

  For information about installing the Extension and Connector for System Platform, in the Work Tasks online help see Connectors and Extensions>Installing Connectors and Extensions>Connector for System Platform.

• Configure the System Platform galaxy to support MES. The configuration procedures are the same as those in Support MES in System Platform.

• Configure the System Platform galaxy to support Work Tasks workflows. In the Work Tasks online help, see Connectors and Extensions>Using Connectors and Extensions>Connector for System Platform>Using Workflow Features Inside OMI.

• Deploy a System Platform WinPlatform object to the node where Work Tasks is installed and any other node that has applications that will be integrated with the galaxy. For more information about deploying a WinPlatform object to a node, see the System Platform IDE help.
