Add a PI Data Archive server to the Servers menu

When you create a collective or add a secondary server to a collective, you choose the servers you want to add from a drop-down list. If the server that you want is not in the list, follow these steps to add it.

1. To the right of the server selection menu, click .

   The PI Connection Manager window opens.

2. Select Server > Add Server to open the Add Server window.

3. In the Network Node field, enter the fully-qualified domain name (FQDN) of the server.

4. Enter a default user name in Default User Name.

5. Click OK.

6. Click Close.
