Verify PI Buffer Subsystem connection to

When the Verification pane appears, PI Buffer Subsystem attempts to connect to all servers configured for buffering, and Buffering Manager assesses buffering health.

1. If PI Buffer Subsystem successfully starts and connects to all listed Data Archive servers and collectives, click Finish.

   If PI Buffer Subsystem cannot start or cannot make the required connections, or if a buffering health issue is reported, click the View messages link for information that may help you identify the problem.

2. If you added a server that will receive buffered data from an interface, then after exiting Buffering Manager:

   1. If you don't have PI Interface Configuration Utility (PI ICU) version 1.4.15 or later, install the latest version of PI ICU.

   2. In PI ICU, review the General page to verify that Buffering Status is On.
