When buffering PI SDK data only

Make sure all queued events have been processed

When you are buffering PI SDK data only (usually data from PI clients), use PI SDK Utility to change the server or collective receiving the buffered data.

1. In PI SDK Utility > PI SDK Buffering > PI SDK Buffering Configuration, use the Buffered Server/Collective list to select a different server or collective.

2. In the PI SDK Buffering Configuration dialog box, click Tools>Service Configuration.

3. On the General tab, click Stop, then Start to restart the PI Buffer Subsystem service.

4. Verify that PI Buffer Subsystem is buffering data.
