PI Data Archive collective configuration tables

  • Last UpdatedJan 13, 2023
  • 1 minute read

Each Data Archive includes the PICOLLECTIVE table and the PISERVER table. These tables contain Data Archive collective configuration and status information. If you edit these tables on the primary Data Archive server, the replication service replicates the changes to secondary servers. Other read-only fields reflect statistics or run-time status.

When editing these tables, you cannot:

  • Rename and remove the current server.

  • Rename and remove an available server (this prevents removing an online secondary server).

  • Remove the current collective while the server is available.

  • Promote another server to primary server from an available primary server.

  • Remove an available primary server from the collective.
