Check PI AF collective status

You can check the status of a PI AF collective member in either AF Collective Manager or PI System Explorer.

  1. Choose one of the following actions:

    To check the status of a collective member in ...

    Do this ...

    AF Collective Manager

    Right-click a collective member and click Show Collective Status.

    PI System Explorer

    1. Select File > Connections.

    2. In the Servers window, right-click a collective member and click Show Collective Status.

    The status of the selected member is displayed in the Collective Status Details window. Click Refresh as needed to update status.

  2. Choose one of the following actions:

    Review errors for secondary servers only

    1. Select the Show Errors Only check box.

    2. Click Refresh.

    Specify how much detail you want to see for secondary servers

    1. In the Max. Secondary Details field, select One per Secondary or specify a number from zero to 100.

    2. Click Refresh.

  3. Click Close to exit the Collective Status Details window.

    Caution: If you are currently adding a secondary server, do not click Close before its status is displayed in the Collective Status Details window so as not to stop the replication process on the secondary server. Otherwise you will need to restart the replication process on the newly added secondary server.
