PI Data Archive permissions for buffering

Configure a PI identity, PI user, or PI group that the PI Buffer Subsystem can use as its identity when it connects to the PI Data Archive. Each buffer identity that PI Buffer Subsystem uses to authenticate must have write access to Data Security for all PI points with buffered data. You can set this permission using Point Builder or PI Builder.

To ensure that all new tags are automatically created with Data Security write permissions for the buffer identity, give the buffer identity write permissions on the PIPOINT DBSecurity table.
