Troubleshoot with the PI message log

The local PI message log provides information recorded by various PI System components, including PI Buffer Subsystem. If you encounter problems when upgrading, configuring, or monitoring buffering, the messages from this log may help with troubleshooting. You can filter, sort, and copy messages as needed. To open the PI Messages window, click the PI messages link.

Note: Buffering Manager messages are stored in the Windows Event Log. To view those messages, use the Event Viewer provided with Windows.
