Find Windows SID

Click Start > All Programs > PI System > PI System Management Tools.

Under Collectives and Servers, select the secondary server that needs the security mapping.

Under System Management Tools, select Security > Mappings and Trusts.

Find the SID on the Mappings tab.

• If a mapping based on the desired Windows group already exists:

  1. Right-click the mapping and choose Properties.

  2. View the Windows SID on the Mapping Properties dialog box.

• If a mapping based on the desired Windows group does not exist:

  3. Click New to open the Add New Mapping dialog box.

  4. In Windows Account, specify the Windows group.

  5. View the SID in Windows SID.

  6. Click Cancel.
