Switch to the primary server in a collective

Use PI Connection Manager to connect your PI client to the primary server in a Data Archive collective.

Open PI Connection Manager. From most clients, choose File > Connections.

In the list of servers, select the collective.

Choose Server > Connect to Primary.
PI SDK connects to the primary server in the collective.

To verify, double-click the collective and check the connected server on the Collective Member Information dialog box.
