Filter local PI messages

In the Buffering Manager dashboard, click the PI messages link to open the PI messages window.

By default, the PI messages window displays error messages logged during the past hour. You can use filters to show messages with a certain severity, time range, or Source1 or Source2 values. You can also show messages containing specific text.

1. Do one or both of the following:

   • Select one or more filter criteria from the available lists.

   • Type a text filter in the Message field.

   The results are updated to reflect only messages that meet the specified criteria. For more information, see Filter criteria for local PI messages.

To display additional information about the identity associated with a specific message (for example, OS User, PI User, and process ID), select a message and click  Message Details below the results.
