Switch to a secondary collective member

Open PI Connection Manager.

From most clients, choose File > Connections.

Choose Server > Switch Member.

PI SDK disconnects from the currently selected Data Archive server in the collective and switches to the next available server, attempting servers in the order specified.

To verify, double-click the collective and check the connected server on the Collective Member Information dialog box.
