User consoles are role-based interfaces within the AVEVA Composable MES platform. They are designed to streamline operations for two primary user roles:

  • Operator console: Provides real-time task guidance and equipment interaction through a Task Driven User Interface (TDUI). Operators receive automatically generated tasks based on equipment / line status and production needs. For a detailed overview, see Understand the Operator console.

  • Supervisory console: Offers broader access to operational data, dashboards, and management tools for overseeing items such as jobs, work orders, downtimes, and other production relevant information. For a detailed overview, see Understand the Supervisory console.

The following topics describe the basic elements of the Operator and Supervisory consoles without considering any installed module and use case detail. It describes the capabilities of the Operator and Supervisory console after the installation of the AVEVA FRAME and the consoles, and before any module or use case is installed.
