Add Consumption

Use the Add Consumption use case details to update the selected job's declared consumption.

Add consumption to a job

1. Select the Consume panel button.

   The Add Consumption use case details open.

2. Select a BOM Name to choose BOM materials.

   The available BOMs depend on the materials linked to the job.

3. Select a Consumption Reason.

   The available consumption reasons depend on the current MES configuration. The use case detail is automatically adjusted when the set of MES reasons are updated.

4. Review the production properties. Note that the production properties are read only.

   • Item Description — The description of the item being produced.

   • Quantity Remaining — The number of items that are required to be produced.

   • Lot Number — If the item is associated with lots, the lot number of the item being produced.

5. Enter quantity to consuming using the + and - icons.

6. Select Consume to add consumption of the materials to the job.
