AVEVA™ Composable and Model Driven MES

Job Execution

  • Last UpdatedOct 15, 2025

The Job Execution use case brings together a set of common MES job-related tasks for operators into an easy-to-use, role-focused interface. It’s designed to simplify the operator’s workflow by combining everything they need in a single use case. This gives users all the key details they need to complete a job with just a few clicks, while also providing a quick overview of the production and consumption status on their selected equipment.

The Job Execution use case enables the operator to view job details, start, suspend, or complete jobs. In addition, the use case enables the operator to manage the declared consumption or production for a job.

The Job Execution use case is typically integrated into the Operator console to be accessible from the Task list.

Note: This documentation describes the predefined AVEVA standard Job Execution use case (version 1.02) without considering any additional customization.

This Job Execution use case requires the installation of the following MES modules:

  • Job Management Module (JM)

  • Material Production Module (MP)

  • Material Consumption Module (MC)
