Transfer List use case

  • Last UpdatedOct 15, 2025
  • 2 minute read

The Transfer List use case provides a comprehensive view of all inventory transfer records between source and destination entities. It enables users to track and audit the flow of materials across different locations—such as warehouses, production lines, or customer sites—by displaying detailed records of each transfer transaction. The functionality is embedded as an AVEVA standard use case within the Inventory use case framework to support traceability and compliance.

Users can display a historical log of all inventory transfers, including:

  • Source and destination locations

  • Transfer quantities

  • Lot and sub-lot details

  • Timestamps (UTC and local)

  • Operator and work order references

Launch the Transfer List use case from Transfer List submenu of the dashboard. This opens a dedicated interface that enables users to view inventory transfer records. Users can apply filters by entity, date range, or other criteria to analyze movement trends and audit inventory flow.

The Transfer List use case consists of:

Transfer List quick filters: Display inventory transfer list records associated with the selected context. Users can apply quick filters based on inventory state, grade, item class, or location to narrow down the list and locate specific inventory items efficiently. In addition, date range filters enable users to specify a time range and view records within a defined time interval.
