Use Andon Management quick filters to streamline the process of locating and reviewing Andon requests by narrowing the list based on specific criteria. This feature is especially useful for supervisory users or operators who need to quickly identify and act on relevant issues in a production environment.
Quick filters are pre-configured tools located above the Andon list that help refine the displayed data. They include:
-
Entity/Type/State quick filters: A multi-select dropdown that enables users to filter Andon requests based on the reporting entity, the type of issue, and the current state. Multiple selections can be made simultaneously to display all relevant entries.
-
Report time filter: Allows users to filter Andon requests based on when they were reported. It includes predefined time ranges and a Custom option, where users can manually define a start and end date/time window.
-
Column-based filters: Each column in the Andon list supports standard filtering, enabling users to refine results by attributes such as location, issue description, or reporter.
These filters help users focus on the most relevant Andon requests, improving response time and operational efficiency.
Apply quick filters
Select the quick filter dropdown.

Select one or more Entity, Andon Type, or Status descriptions.
Select Apply.
The Andon list updates to show only issues matching the selected quick filter values.
Apply reporting time filters
Choose a predefined time range or select Custom.

If Custom was selected, enter the desired start and end date and time. Confirm the selection to apply the filter.

The Andon list updates to show only issues reported within the selected time interval.
Apply column-based filters
Select specific columns headers to filter the issue list based on the column contents.

Combine filters
Use filters in combination to narrow the andon list even further. For example, view Maintenance Andons that are in ACKNOWLEDGED or NOT RESOLVED state and were reported within the last 24 hours by selecting the following filters:
-
Quick filter AndonType: Select Maintenance to show only maintenance issues.
-
Quick filter State: Select ACKNOWLEDGED and NOT RESOLVED to remove new and resolved issues from the list.
-
Reported Time: Select 24H to focus on issues reported in the last 24 hours.
