Edit a sample

Use the Edit Sample use case details to to update specific fields of an existing quality sample—typically when corrections or additional information are needed before the sample is finalized.

Edit a sample

1. Select the Edit Sample panel button.

   The Edit Sample use case details open.

2. Review and update the following properties:

   • Priority: The assigned execution rank of the sample.

   • Lot / SubLot: The unique batch IDs.

   • Spare1 / Spare2: Custom or additional information about the sample.

   The following properties are available for review only:

   Item ID: Identifies the specific item associated with the sample.

   Sample Frequency: Indicates how often the sample is expected to be taken (e.g., hourly, per batch).

   Work Order: Links the sample to a specific production work order.

   Operation: Specifies the production operation during which the sample was taken.

3. Select Save.

   The updated sample properties are immediately available in the sample list.
