Execute Job Execution use case details

The Job Execution use case details are launched from panel buttons. What use case detail is launched from a panel button depends on the link configuration in the composable engine. The link itself can be dependent on configured context.

The following topics describe the default configuration of the use case detail links which all reference to the module components of the Job Management module, Material Production module and Material Consumption module. Module components are basic use case details provided with the modules.

Select from the following job execution panel buttons depending on the current job's status.

Job Details

The Job Details button.

Use the Job Details panel button to review the job summary properties for the active job.

The button is enabled for ALL job statuses.

Start Job

The Start Job button.

Use the Start Job panel button to start the selected job.

The button is enabled for jobs that are READY or SUSPENDED. It is disabled for jobs with a status of RUNNING.

Suspend Job

The Suspend Job button.

Use the Suspend Job panel button to temporarily pause the selected job.

The button is enabled for jobs that RUNNING. It is disabled for jobs that are READY or SUSPENDED.

Complete Job

The Complete Job button.

Use the Complete Job panel button to finish running the selected job.

The button is enabled for jobs that are RUNNING.

Add Production

The Add Production button.

Use the Add Production panel button to update the selected job's declared production quantities.

The button is enabled for jobs that are RUNNING. It is disabled for jobs that are READY or SUSPENDED.

Consume

The Add Consumption button.

Use the Add Consumption panel button to update the selected job's declared consumption.

The button is enabled for jobs that are RUNNING. It is disabled for jobs that are READY or SUSPENDED.
