The task list contains a complete list of the upcoming tasks for the selected equipment. Note that the content and sorting criteria for the list are configurable.

By default, the pending tasks for the selected equipment are automatically displayed when the operator console is opened or the selected equipment is updated during a session. New tasks for the selected equipment are added to the task list automatically. Navigate through a task list by selecting the scroll icons or a specific page number.

In the following task list, two job related tasks for the equipment require action from the operator and one unclassified downtime related task requires the assignment of the downtime reason. To display the related use case details panel, the user selects a task from the list.

Task types

By default, the following task types are available:

  • Job: Require the operator to perform a job action.

  • Downtime assignment: Require the operator to assign a downtime event reason to a downtime event.

  • Quality sample entry: Require the operator to complete a sampling task.

  • Commands

  • Other customized task types

Note: Other customized task types are configurable. Custom task types are defined during the MES project modeling phase. The association between a task types and the related use case details is configured in the Use Case Configuration Environment.

Task type behavior

Task type behavior in the pending task list depends on the task type. For example, a Job task for a specific job appears in the pending task lists when the Job is scheduled and in status READY, RUNNING, ON HOLD or SUSPENDED. The Job task is automatically removed from the list when the Job status is COMPLETED, DELETED or CANCELED.

Note: The task for a specific Downtime event will remain in the list as long as a DOWNTIME event is unassigned.
