Navigate the Inventory Management use case

Open the Supervisory (or Operator) console for the equipment of interest and then select the Inventory Management tab. Select an inventory item and then execute inventory management panel buttons on the active item.

Navigate the Job Management use case

  1. Open the Supervisory (or Operator) console.

  2. Select the equipment of interest.

  3. Select the Inventory Management tab.

    Available properties in the inventory list include:

    • Item ID: Unique identifier of the material or (semi-finished or finished) product.

    • Item description: Description of the material or product.

    • Lot number (No.): Unique identifier for a specific batch of items produced under similar conditions.

    • Sublot number (No.): Unique identifier of a subdivision of a lot number, used for further tracking or differentiation within a lot.

    • Quantity left: The remaining quantity of the item in stock, measured in the specified unit of measurement (UOM).

    • UOM: Unit of measurement for the items (e.g., pieces, kilograms, liters).

    • Location: Physical location or storage area where the item is stored.

    • Grade: Quality or grade of the material/product, indicating its standard or classification.

    • State: Current state or condition of the item (e.g., raw, in-process, finished).

    • Expiry date: The date by which the item should be used or consumed, if applicable.

  4. (Optional) To find the item of interest, filter the inventory list:

    Select the Quick Filters to filter the list based on state, grade, or item class. For detailed information on the filters available, see Understand Inventory Management filters.

    Select specific columns headers to filter the inventory list based on the column contents.

  5. Select the inventory item you wish to perform the use case detail on.

  6. Execute the Inventory Management use case detail of interest by selecting the related panel button.
