Install AVEVA Composable MES

Composable MES installation can be performed either through the Composable MES (CMES) installer tool or manually, depending on the level of control and customization required.

The CMES installer tool automates most steps except for the Work Tasks package installation, which must be installed manually. Manual installation offers deeper insight into module components and allows for tailored integration of additional use cases.

Before you install Composable MES, ensure all prerequisite activities are complete. For detailed information, see Prepare to install AVEVA Composable MES.

In addition, ensure that:

• Backups of the MES and Repository databases have been created.

• The contents of the Composable MES package have been extracted and all files and folders are unblocked.
