Add Production

Use the Add Production use case details to update the selected job's declared production quantities.

Add production to a job

1. Select the Add Production panel button.

   The Add Production use case details open.

2. Review the production properties. Note that the production properties are read only.

   • Item Description — The description of the item being produced.

   • Quantity Required — The number of items that are required to be produced.

   • Lot Number — If the item is associated with lots, the lot number of the item being produced.

3. To add production quantities:

   1. Select a Production Reason.

      If Bad Production is selected, the quantity is added to the rejection count.

   2. Enter quantity using the + and - icons.

   3. Select Add Production.

4. To add rejected production quantities:

   1. Select a Reject Reason.

   2. Enter quantity using the + and - icons.

   3. Select Add Reject.

   Note: The Production and Reject Reasons are dependent on the current MES configuration. The use case detail is automatically adjusted when the set of MES reasons are updated.
