The Work Order Management use case consolidates a comprehensive suite of MES work order functions into a single, module-centric interface tailored for supervisory users. It streamlines work order oversight by offering centralized access to key actions and insights through a configurable tab embedded in the Supervisory console.
This use case enables users to view and manage work orders, apply quick filters based on status and time, and perform actions such as creating, editing, deleting, cloning, readying, or canceling work orders. It also provides access to detailed work order information, Bill of Materials (BOM) data, and associated job, helping users to make informed decisions efficiently.
The Work Order Management use case is typically integrated into the Supervisory console but can be adapted for other roles through configuration, depending on user access rights and operational needs.
Note: This documentation describes the predefined AVEVA standard Work Order Management use case (version 1.02) without considering any additional customization.
This use case requires the installation of the following MES modules:
-
Order Management Module (OM)
-
Job Management Module (JM)
