Create a handling unit

Use the Add Handling use case details to create a new handling unit.

Add a new handling unit

1. Specify the Handling Unit ID for the pallet or box.

2. Specify the Item Description for the handling unit. Standard item descriptions include generic pallet, bag, or box.

3. In the Source Location dropdown specify the storage location of the new handling unit.

4. Select the Add Handling Unit action.

5. Select OK to acknowledge the successful creation of the handling unit.

6. Specify the inventory being added to the handling unit from the inventory available at the source location. Record the Lot Number and Sublot Numbers to maintain traceability.

7. Select OK to confirm handling unit content.
