Use the Edit Job use case details to update certain job related properties for the selected job.

Edit a job

  1. Select the Edit Job panel button.

    The Edit Job use case details open. The following standard job-related properties are available:

    • Job Description: (Read-only) The name of the operation.

    • Batch Size: The amount of product that is processed simultaneously. This is used to determine the standard production time for a given amount of product.

    • Job Priority: The job's scheduling priority.

    • Start Quantity: This represents the total quantity to produce at the last operation, considering rejects. The last operation in the work order starts with the starting quantity. The start quantity must be equal to or greater than the required quantity.

    • Required Quantity: Required quantity is the total quantity that must be produced by all jobs in the last operation of a work order, without considering rejects.

    • Last Start Time: (Read-only) The most recent time at which the job started running.

    • Due Date: Planned date and time to complete the job.

    • Estimated Finish Time: (Read-only) Estimated finish time to complete the job.

    • Notes: Additional information on the job.

  2. Select Save to save the updates.
