Merge utilization events

Use the Merge Utilization Event use case detail to do one of the following (depending on the MES configuration):

• (Default MES configuration) Update the selected event utilization reason to match the utilization reason of an adjacent event.

• Merge adjacent utilization events into a single event.

Merge utilization events

For the selected utilization event:

1. Select the Merge Utilization Events panel button.

   The Merge Utilization Events use case details display the selected event and the events immediately before and after it.

   Note: Abstracted visualization of the status means that independent from the length of the three events, they will be shown in equal length. The actual related start and end times are shown below the bar graph.

2. Review the Event Time to verify the start date and time of the event to merge.

3. To merge the event, do one of the following:

   • To merge the event left (update the selected event to match the event before it), select Merge Left.

   • To merge the event right (update the selected event to match the event after it), select Merge Right.

4. (Optional) Enter a Comment to provide additional context about the update.

5. Select Merge.

   The Equipment Utilization Event list and status bar are updated immediately with the configured update.
