Navigate the Job Management use case

Open the Supervisory (or Operator) console for the equipment of interest and then select the Job Management tab. Select a job and then execute job management panel buttons on the active job.

Navigate the Job Management use case

  1. Open the Supervisory (or Operator) console.

  2. Select the equipment of interest.

  3. Select the Job Management tab.

    The job list for the selected equipment displays in the job list panel.

    Available standard properties in the job management list include (but are not limited to):

    • Item ID: The unique item identifier for which the work order is created. It represents the material/product that is produced, being a semi-finished or a finished product.

    • Work order: The work order ID the job belongs to.

    • Operations: The work order operation the job is generated from.

    • Sequence number: In cases where there are multiple jobs for the same work order and operation, sequence number identifies the particular job.

    • Required quantity: The total quantity that must be produced by a job, including good production and expected rejects.

    • Starting quantity: The total quantity for the job, including only good production.

    • Status: The job's current status.

    • Entity: The entity the job is executed on.

    • Batch size: The number of produced units that comprise a single batch for the job.

  4. (Optional) To find the job of interest, filter the job list:

    Select the Quick Filters to filter the list based on status.

    Alternatively, select a filter period to view only jobs for a specific time interval.

    If using Custom, enter the desired start and end date and time. Confirm the selection to apply the filter.

    Select specific columns headers to filter the job list based on the column contents.

  5. Select the job you wish to perform the use case detail on.

  6. Execute the job management use case detail of interest by selecting the related panel button. For detailed information on the available Job Management panel buttons, see Execute Job Management use case details.
