Install the Supervisory Console module

The Supervisory Console package delivers a persona-driven interface tailored for supervisory roles, enabling streamlined access to relevant information and use cases for managing shop floor operations. The dashboard interface includes core UI elements designed to support supervisory workflows with clarity and efficiency.

Installation of the Supervisory Console module requires prior creation of the MES Model. Once prerequisites are met, the package artifacts—including menu images, JavaScript files, SQL scripts, and work task packages—are deployed to their respective directories. Upon successful installation, the Supervisory Console icon becomes available, providing direct access to the dashboard and its supervisory functions.

Install the Supervisory Console package

1. Before you begin, ensure the MES Model has been created. For more information see, Install the Frame Template module.

2. Navigate to the Supervisory Console package folder (SC_V01.00.00) and complete the following steps.

   

3. Copy the files from each of the Supervisory Console package folders following and paste the selected files into the Work Task product folder indicated:

   • MenuImages: Copy all the image files to BPMUITemplates\Default\Themes\Default\Repository\Site\Images

   • JavaScripts: Copy all the JavaScript files to folder BPMUITemplates\Default\NextGenForms\js\MES

   • SQLScripts: Execute all the scripts in the order they appear in the package in the MES database.

4. Import the Task Driven Work Task package (./WorkTaskPackage/SC_01.00.00.awsPKG).

5. Install the imported package.

   Once the package is successfully installed, the Supervisory Console icon is displayed on the main Enterprise Console page. To open the Supervisory Console page, select the icon.
