The Andon feedback workflow is a structured communication loop between the requestor (who raises the issue) and the receiver (who is assigned to resolve it). It ensures that every Andon request is acknowledged, acted upon, and either resolved or escalated as needed.
Andon feedback workflow
-
Raise Andon: The requestor uses the Raise Andon task to create an Andon request. The requestor specifies the Andon Type, defines the Issue Details and Location, and creates the request. The Andon task is assigned to both the requestor and receiver.
-
Acknowledge Andon: The receiver uses the Andon Details task to review the issue, referencing the Andon History for every action, note and status change recorded so far for the request.

The receiver takes action on the task, documents their response, and selects Acknowledge to acknowledge the request. The Andon status changes to ACKNOWLEDGED in both task lists.
-
Requestor review: The requestor uses the Andon Details task to review the receiver’s notes and decides whether the issue is resolved:

-
If resolved, the requestor selects Resolved to resolve the request. The task is closed and removed from both task lists. The Andon status is updated to RESOLVED.
-
If not resolved, the requestr add notes and select Not Resolved to indicate that request is not resolved. The task remains in the task lists of the requestor and receiver and the Andon status is update to NOT RESOLVED in both task lists.

-
Repeat acknowledgement and review: The receiver can acknowledge again with updated notes. This loop can repeat until the requestor confirms resolution.
