Understand Quality Management filters

Use Quality Management quick filters to streamline the process of locating and managing quality samples by allowing users to narrow down the sample list based on specific criteria. This feature is especially helpful for supervisors or operators who need to quickly identify relevant samples in a production environment.

Quick Filters are pre-configured filtering tools that help users refine the sample list displayed in the Quality Management interface. They are located above the sample list and include:

  • Status filter: Enables users to filter samples based on their current status (e.g., Ready, In Progress, Complete, Cancelled). Multiple statuses can be selected simultaneously to display all relevant samples.

  • Requested time filter: Enables users to view samples based on their requested sampling timeframe. It includes predefined time ranges and a Custom option, where users can manually set a start and end date/time window.

  • Column-based filters: Enables users to filter samples by attributes such as location, work order, item ID, or priority.

Apply status filter

Select the Quick Filter dropdown.

The Quality Management quick filter.

Select one or more sample statuses.

The sample list updates to show only samples matching the selected statuses.

Apply requested time filter

Choose a predefined time range or select Custom.

Filter by time interval.

If using Custom, enter the desired start and end date and time.

Confirm the selection to apply the filter.

The sample list updates to show only samples requested within the selected time interval.

Apply column-based filters

Click on specific column headers to filter the sample list based on the column contents.

Filter by column header.

The sample list updates to show only samples matching the selected filter value.

Combine filters

Use multiple filters together to narrow down the sample list even further. For example, view only In Progress samples requested within the last 1 hours.
