Export Datalinks to Excel

Select the drawings in the appropriate grid. More than one drawing must be selected.
Note: If datalink details for a single drawing are to be exported, open the Datalinks window for that drawing (see Datalinks), right-click, and use the Export to Excel options provided on the right-click menu.

On the List Tools - Drawing tab or the List Tools - Hookup Drawings tab, click Selected Drawings in the Export section, then Export Datalinks to Excel from the menu that is then displayed.
The Save file as window is then displayed.

Select the location to which the Excel file is to be saved, enter the file name, and click Save.
The export then takes place:

The generated spreadsheet will have one tab for each selected drawing. The datalink details will be organized in a structured, logically grouped way. For example:
