Delete a Tag Format

A tag format can be deleted as long as it is not:

• In use as the tag format for an existing Project tag number.

• Assigned to a Project class.

To delete a tag format

1. Select it and click Delete. Only a single tag format can be deleted at a time. If more than one is selected, a message will be displayed to inform you of this.

   If a single tag format was selected, the following message is displayed:

   

2. Click Yes to continue with the deletion.

   If the tag format cannot be deleted because of one of the reasons given above, the appropriate message is displayed to inform you of this. For example:

   

   If the tag format can be deleted, the deletion is then carried out.
