AVEVA Integration and the Compare/Update Facility

Use the Compare/Update facility to compare and update data provided by a service from another AVEVA product, or a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.
Note: This service must also be installed and setup. Refer to the AVEVA Integration Service User Guide for further information.
If required, differences in data in these other sources can be used to update data in the current Project.
The facility interfaces with the following AVEVA products:

For the supported versions of these products, refer to the release letter for your version of AVEVA Instrumentation.
Before using the facility, compare and update configurations must be set up. For example, attribute mappings between the AVEVA Instrumentation Project and the data source, data filters, etc.
