Edit Report Layouts

To edit the layout of a report

  1. Open the report and click Edit Layout - located at the top right of the Report window to display the Report Designer window.

    The Report Designer enables you to:

    • Lay out the selected fields on the report page.

    • Set font attributes (font name, font size, whether bold or italic, etc.).

    • Set colors (both foreground and background).

    • Attach pictures, logos, etc.

    • Set page headers/footers, grouping, etc.

    • Add sub-reports, such as revision sub-reports.

      Note: To add additional fields to the report, drag the field name onto the page (from the Fields List tab tree view) at the middle right of this window. To add a new field that is not yet in the tree view, save the layout and select the new fields from the Grid fields list. For details, refer to Create a New Report.
