Core/Wire Colors

Black wires are cable cores which are set to propagate signals.

Blue wires (including looping wires) and links are non-cable core wires and links which are set to propagate signals.

Green wires and links are of the above wires and links which are not set to propagate signals.

Cables, wires, links and loop wires owned by Electrical are red. Refer to Cables and Equipment Shared with AVEVA Electrical for further information.

Note: Wires are normally used for internal wiring only. That is, both ends are terminated in the same equipment or cabinet.
