Process Equipment Type Catalog

A process equipment type consists of the association of a type code with a class (see, Class Definitions).

When new process equipment is created, a class is specified. This in turn determines which tag formats and type codes may be selected for the equipment.

• To open the Process Equipment Types Catalog, select Setup > Type Catalog from the Project tab.
