Signal Propagation Tab

If non-signal propagating connections (wires, loops, links) are to be allowed between terminals with different signals, proceed as follows:

  1. Select Allow when a clash of signal is detected.

The system leaves the checkbox cleared by default.

The Show warning message checkbox becomes available after you select Allow when a clash of signal is detected.

  2. Do one of the following:

    • Select Show warning message so that, when an attempt to make a connection between terminals with different signals is made, the system displays a message warning that there is a signal clash, and asks whether a non-signal propagating connection is to be created.

    • Leave the Show warning message cleared to have a non-signal propagating connection created automatically (that is, without a warning message).
