The licensing of the AVEVA Instrumentation product product can be managed in one of two ways:

On a "Licensing as a Service" (LaaS) basis using the customer’s CONNECT account. See Using Licensing as a Service (LaaS).

On a client basis (in other words, on a client’s PC or server) using the AVEVA Licensing System (ALS) security system. See Using the Client-based AVEVA Licensing System.
