Assign Tag Formats to Classes

To assign tag formats to a class, select the Class from the Class Definitions window.

Select Assign Tag Formats.

The Tag Formats window is displayed:

The window lists all tag formats for either process equipment or process lines as appropriate.

To assign a tag format to the class, select its Assign checkbox.

A primary tag format must be specified. To do so, check the appropriate Primary checkbox of an assigned tag format. Doing so automatically unchecks any previously checked Primary checkbox.

The primary tag format will be the format selected by default when creating an item associated with the class. The other assigned formats will also be available for selection if required.

Select Save to exit the window.

Select Close to exit the window without saving any changes.
