If you attempt to edit an item which is currently being edited by another item, a message is displayed to inform you that the item is locked. For example:

To unlock an item

Click Claims in the Multi-user section of the Manage Tab in AVEVA Instrumentation.
The Locks window is then displayed:

To unlock an item, check the item's checkbox in the Object No. column, and click the Unlock button.

Multiple items can be selected at once. To select all of the listed items, check the Select All checkbox.
