Create New Process Equipment Types

To add a new process equipment to the catalog, select New. The Add New Loop Type window is displayed:

From the Class Name dropdown, select the class of the process equipment type. The Class Description field is automatically completed with the description of the selected class.

In the Type field, enter the process equipment type code.

1. Enter a description of the code in the Description field.

   The Class Name and Type fields cannot be left blank. The combination of class and type code must be unique (that is, it cannot already been have assigned to another process equipment type).

Select Apply to save the new process equipment type without exiting the window.

Select OK to save the new loop process equipment and exit the window.

Select New to clear all the fields.

Select Cancel to exit the window without saving the new process equipment type.
