Import Data

Data can be imported into the Instrument List from various sources.

Note: Instrument tags must be unique, either across the entire Project, or within their Project location (see Manually Add a Tag to the Instrument List).
Tag numbers that are not unique within the Project or location cannot be imported.
If duplicate tag numbers are permitted in the Project as long as their Project locations are different, the location of an instrument is taken into account when matching imported tag numbers with those present in the Database.
