To Copy a Single Item

Select the existing record in the Process Equipment or Process Lines grid.

Select Copy Selected from the dropdown list next to the New option on the Home tab.

The following message is displayed:

Select Yes to open the Process Item Copy Wizard. Otherwise select No. For more information, see Process Item Copy Wizard.

AVEVA Instrumentation will display a New Process Equipment or New Process Line window containing all the data from the copied item.

Change the details as required. As a minimum, ensure the Tag Number / Line ID is changed.

Select Save to create the new item.
